Just thought I'd start a topic on this curious player...

Carl Cort started his career at Wimbledon and played around 80 games for them in 4ish seasons. So in that time he wasn't that injury prone, and he got about 17 ish goals (with playing on right wing some games too).

At Newcastle he has had a horrendous time with injury... he's played about 14 games or so... and scored 6 goals. Not bad for only a few games and being out with injury. Newcastle paid £7million for him, and he is now being sold for £1.5 million...

*sigh*

Its things like this where you scratch your head... you wonder is it bad luck, bad circumstances for that player at Newcastle? its just wierd.
