Default The Pounding Side of Life

Well, I have a new label to sort stuff out for now, and it gives me the chance to put out stuff away from the DirtyBass Records Sound.

So here is something I am experimenting with, Hard
Broken beat techno with a hint of old skool stuffed in there.

I am struggling a little with the final mix, so you opinions and advice would be appreciated

I like it. It needs a stronger kick. The bass line and the change of emotion 3 mins in is spot on. I just suggest to kick. I'm feeling the bass line transition. very almost two step but funky as hell.

very funky, i agree with the kick needing to be beefed up, a bit more compression i reckon, not to keen on all the distortion at times but thats just me

Yeah your right about the kick, althou I don`t think it`s compression it needs, cos it already is compressed too much. Needs more punch, and I need to resolve issues with the frequency of the bassline after the break as it clouds the mix a little.
I think a general clean up is needed as the mix is very busy.
I`m having a lot of trouble with the EQ

    any tips?

I think you gotta get rid of the clap on the two and the four.

damn it gets muddy around 5 minutes! really nice break, but the mud is deep...eqeqeqeq

fabulous track though. I'm sure after your clean-up it will be outstanding
