Looks to me to be a good idea.

Is it ending Calv? You got any sources?
Bás Ar An Impireacht
Bloody hell, thats a bit mad. Are they running out of money or whats the craic?
Bás Ar An Impireacht
its on the main news channels now. Max Mosely wants the teams to keep to a 40 million pound budget or something. the big teams have had enough, then don't want to be nannied by F1/Bernie Ecclestone/max Mosely anymore.
Should make for a much more exciting grand prix season.
Personally i think they should have a budget. Wheres the fun or sport in having a massive budget to make a space ship of a car. Sure the engineering is amazing these days, but it just aint raw enough.

so the big teams have spat their dummy out because they're not winning anymore?
f**king jokers
Numeric
I agree with Numeric, and drivers like Alonso too, because they wouldn't get paid as much. The big teams just want to be able to spend their way to the top, these new regulations would close the gap for the smaller teams since they could use bigger engines etc and make the sport more competitive, plus it's enticed new blood into the sport so it would be a real boon for fans.
Ferrari can go for all I care, just a shame the other teams have spat the dummy out too.
as soon as this started, from what I read on forums/bbc etc, everyone start bitching about ferrari throwing the toys out of the pram.
****ing delighted that all the other team have done so too. people may then realise its not just ferrari that are unhappy..
as for big budgets...the fairy tale Brawn experience is a sham. there good form this year is built upon by massive amounts of expenditure in research by Honda. red Bull have been plowing loads of money into research too, for gods sake they have Adrian Newey (one of the best) designing cars for them.
this season is a false dawn for people saying the budget and other restrictions are responsible for a more exciting (?) season.
and, ferrari (as the other teams) are for the buget cap, and for new teams, but they (all of them) are of the belief it should be more gradual, with a single set of regulations.
so please, stop the ferrari bashing....unjustified

and a big point of getting away from mosley/ecclestone, is to stop lining their pockets and keep the money in the sport.
im all for that
End of F1?
Unfortunately.
ubiquitousness is infinite in every reality
job done....
FOTA chairman Luca di Montezemolo says:
I dont think you can call Ferrari/di Montezemolo monsters based on thatTo us, three things were most important: that F1 stay F1 and not become F3; that there is no dictator, but that there was a choice of rules, agreed and not imposed; and that whoever had a team was consulted and had a voice.
Why are you so defensive about them?
the british seem to hate ferrari. this was all made out to be ferraris idea (based on lots of comments ive read here, bbc, skysports etc) when clearly all the teams are in agreement. just pointing out some facts.
