run of the mill metallic techno. Rob has done better.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

Cradle Cap (or crap) or whatever its called has to be the best track on all the Apex's so far. Man, that tune is the bomb! (in the words of Tim Westwood)

One is very good, mad funky, two is probably the biggest 'tune', 3 i like a lot, lovely synths and a deeper feel, and the bassline on 4 rocks, love it. not heard 5 yet.

B1 of 2 puts a shiver down my spine.

4...I don't know. Maybe I should get out of a thought pattern of what I'd like to hear from previous releases and embrace new sounds / directions of a label...if ya get ma drift :?:

thought this was a big pair of grandad pants. the label and the artist have both release far superior works than this one.

Come on techno people, where are you all? This is the best Apex so far, reminds me of old UR and Mills when they were still tough as.. I think you all need to hear this on a large rig, then you'll realise. ROCKIN

    thank you!
that is exactly where rob is coming from
    totally detroit influenced funk.

maybe downwards or someone could give it a listen and help out.

basically if you're looking for acid techno or another hydraulix
apex is not going to do it for you

there will be the odd hard one
but i want to release a bit deeper music too

personally i think 4 really rocks
but it is deep so it needs to be played carefully
i managed to get it right once in brasil
and it was just what the doctor ordered

    ah well
    you can't please them all.
    love your mum

    I agree Si!

APEX is a very very good label, so wicked release's. kinda really gets u hooked. I mean just cos it aint hard, dont mean i cant like it, as i think alot fo people seem to think you can only like one style of techno.

I love all my techno. i appreciate it and know how much effort been put in2 a decent track. dont get me wrong...a shit track deserves to be slated, but i feel that a few people in techno and i got to say that a minority from THIS board tend to have a go at a track/producer, just cos it aint 'their' bag. i think thats unfair and very narrow minded.

techno is about diversity.thats wot i was always led to believe.the parties i go to and the nights ive dj/promoted used the love of techno as means of getting together.no matter wot style, theres always an occasion for different genres.Like Henry pointed out, some tracks have to be played at the right time, right place.

god i rant. i dont often rant, or even post! i just tend to read all posts, but of late a few posts (not from u Si) have made me put these comments.

    peace
