Dubstep has morphed and developed so quickly there are loads of substyles coming out of london now.

The big gnarled up wobbly stuff is kinda like the mainstream cheese equivalent of clippity clopp minimal, but if you dig deep there`s some stuff that is pushing forward, new sounds, slippy beats, big textures.

Best dubstep mix I've heard was by MarkOmen.

Past that Vex'd, Digital Mystikz, Tech Itch, Plastician, Tes La Rock, and of course Burial.

    Lots of great stuff about.

I haven't really listened to much new stuff though.

    here's a track i'm digging right now...has kind of a detroit-meets-south-london vibe to it.

    Shed "Estrange" (Ostgut Ton)

It's calm, sophisticated and has a nice beat to it towards the end.

I was thinking somewhere along the lines of this stuff as a frontier for dubstep or heavy energetic dubstep....

    Mala - Eyez

Deadmau5 & Kaskade - I Remember (Caspa Remix) - and this to a lesser degree but with great vocals.

Lots of new stuff can be found at http://www.getdarker.com/home/ but I'm always eager to hear other frontier, boundry breaking dub.

There is a cool label started by some mates of mine with releases out very soon.
Very different industrial dubstep techno hybrid from some south london/croydon dubstep dons and london techno soldiers.
