Default Your production plans for 2010

First thing I deffinitely must finish is finally sort all materials for live pa. I am half way towards the finish, and it drives me nuts.

I will dig into new non techno project I started with my mate. Will be loads of fun, tho and it is one of most intestesting things I am heading to during the year.

Will sort my VSTplugins folder and got rid of most of the plugins, and will keep just a few.

Gonna finish acoustic treatments in my studio and then wait for big cash to buy new gear.

Whats your plans for this year guys?

    • To work really hard on perfecting my arrangement and enigneering skills!
    • Collaborate more with other people
    • Get at least one of our tracks to number one in the TID download charts
    • Make a really well crafted and polished EP that I'm 101% happy with

    PS
Might invest in some new monitors too.....

I will get an EP ready... and send it out to a number of places (the result does not matter).

    Make something I'm happy with
Make a loop longer than 4 bars!
Upgrade to live 8 (9 probably by the time I can afford it!)
Share what I've been doing instead of being a shy ****er horrified at the thought of mass critisism

Self improvement, in all areas of production and mastering.

Keep an eye on what everyone else is doing, and try not to do the same.

Make music as creatively and honestly as I can and find a way to a middle ground between intelligent progressive musicality and the dancefloor.

Make someone physically sick from basswaves.

Continue to seek out and champion more interesting and original artists for singularity recordings.

The Orb did that to me at Brixton Academy.

    Very nearly disastrous.

firstly - Brown note is a myth. pretty much no soundsystem you are ever going to hear can produce 7hz at enough SPL. Anyway

finish my 132bpm techno live p.a
    stop getting pissed before gigs!!
send tracks to people when they ask for them!
record my two new 150bpm hard techno p.a's
finish my 120bpm ambient dub thingy p.a by end of the month so I can play DDD
try and vary my stuff a bit - less bang bang bang
get more tracks out, i guess. not fussed really so long as I like it

i just wanna get back into constant studio work. its been a good few years now since i've banged it every week in the studio like i used to and it's getting me down BADLY. last month i came to the conclusion it's a matter of doing the things in the life that really matter and knocking those on the head that dont.

i also think that the recent quality jump in harder techno aka Mooy and Enzinger etc has made me excited again.

chrissi and i were thinking about doing our PA again too, so we really need to get out heads down i think :)

I'd like to assemble a full on Hard Techno Live PA
Continue to gear my arrangements to more aggressive stylings.
Try to make more 136- 138 material (try)
    Maybe more Broken Beat.

That was a bit sick for such a small place haha, I`m off to california to see chris this year, hopefully we should do it again.
I`ve done a few Dubstep gigs since on big rigs and have had people tell me I had their eyeballs vibrating.

I actually know the frequencies to induce nausia and paranoia. Got it from a naughty document I aqquired.
IT`s easier to reach these frequencies than the so called "brown note" as most soundsystems just don`t go low enough.

    eh good question!
    1. get back into the flow. its coming back a bit now, and im feeling good about it.
    2. fulfil some release promises that have been ignored but not forgotten.
    3. finally make that one insanely nuts techno track that will make people go insanely nuts.
    4. get some more releases out on some of my favourite labels.
    5. make my liveset as 'live' as i can.
    6. get a gig in Tresor or Berghain.
    7.?????????
    8. get a blow job behind the decks by a dirty little ride
