Personally I am sick of constant emulations of hardware or old gear in software.
It`s 2010 and what we need is the future not the past, new techniques, new ways of doing things.
I`ve found the Elysia MPressor to be a really creative new compressor (it is actually based on the hardware version).
It has some great features not available anywhere else that bring new possibilities in dynamic shaping and just, well, madness, or more conventional and very very useful standard compression features.

been checking this last week. never saw Ratio with negative values,. must try it, cheers.

ow its expensive :S but from messing with the demo it sounds great! the way it crunches stuff when abused is perfect for parallel :D. i dont think i've ever really come across a software comp outside of dsp like liquidmix and uad that sounds this good but then again i didnt look very hard. are there any?
