Following on from the serious sound workout of Coefficient’s techno and electro showcase we continue with the techno, taking it a touch deeper for the Drugstore boys.
HOUR 2 THE SHOWCASE// Drugstore began at the beginning of 2009 as a union of the Bayona Music Collective. One name, six people, one target, six visions of techno music. This is what Drugstore are, one group, able to release a range of styles from tech-house to schranz music.
In their first year of working collectively together as Drugstore they’ve released tracks and mixes for several net labels around Europe: Offaudio (SPA), Antiritmo (SPA), Ignored Records (SPA), Zimmer (GER), Subversive Media (SPA), Loopzilla (GER) Mixotic (GER). They been supported , reviewed and played by DJs and producers of the electronic music scene from all over the world. Including Dosem [Sino!] (SPA), Nuke [Code Records] (SPA), Exium [Nheoma] (SPA), Bas Mooy [Audio Assault] (NED), A.Paul [Naked Lunch] (POR), DVNT [MANTIS] (UK).Always in the same line, our line. Our music always get in touch with techno lovers, always groove, some dark and some industrial sounds, very mental.
Their tracks and sets have been played in radio shows and stations from Spain to United Kingdom, at Sonidos Distintos (SPA), MANTIS Radio (UK), Dirty Radio (UK) and Wavesound FM (CZ). Over the course of the past year they’ve shared the stage with Mark Broom, James Ruskin, Adam Beyer, Octave One, Ben Sims, Cristian Varela, Exium, Mark Williams, Reeko, Nuke and Cesar Almena as well as regular slots at CODE @ Fabrik, TABOO, MAMBO House Club and PASARELLA.
