JBL vs BOSE

Got some JBL control 5, the 175wt ones.

A m8 of mine has Bose 301 series 3 i think they are, they rated at 150wt i think?


im thinking about selling my JBL's and getting some Bose, what do you think? The 301 Bose have some really nice bass on them. Which the JBL's lack i think. anyone used both? What other speakers are worth checking out?

ive got a pair of bose 301 series 4, they're pretty nice. i've had them for a long time now, over 5 years for sure. they've rocked my bedroom setup, and lots of house parties. one time at this party this dj was beating the hell out of them, i thought for sure they were blown after he finished, but i brought them home and they sounded just as good as they ever had.

i'd recommend them for a bedroom setup, nothin huge though.

Powered means it has a powered amp built into it, but since you said you have an amp and your keeping it I think that answers Cas's question.

id have to say bose all the way -
when i first started djing i had these lil speakers, prob 10 inch in size total...they were loud and bassy..clear..
just make sure your amp and speakers are of the same watts..nuttin more ..nuttin less...underpowering your speakers can be just as bad as overpowering..
