    Default BPM

    Hello.

I have a simpleton question. When arranging a dj set do you select your tracks in a ascending order of BPM or descending. i.e. the first track you would start with is 160bpm and the last would be 150.

I'm guessing it should be descending?

    Thanks.

There is no right or wrong way really.

Do what ever you feel like.

If anything I tend to start off slower and get slightly quicker and harder as I go on.

Usually you progress faster, but it can be nice to slow down at points ^^ Gives fast and harder tracks more contrast and energy ^^

sorry, I mean in what order do you play tracks based on their original BPMs?

If you were to play a whole set at 160 bpm would you start with records which have a higher BPM and then descend through the tracks so you end up with tracks which have a lower original BPM?

    Hope that makes sense. Cheers.
