on sat nite I had my first free party experience & it was ****ing amazing. Since sat nite I have felt an uncontrolable urge to listen to dirty dirty hard tribal techno. The problem is I don't kow were to buy it. I've been a hardtrance/hardstyle fan for years but have now been convereted!

Can anyone give me pointers in the direction of decent record stores stocking good underground shit?

The quick answer is go to banging tunes or trackheads.

The way I got into tribal tunes was to listen to one of the Schranzwerk CDs. I got Vol. 8. Check out ESELDOWNLOADS.
Then I just bought a tracks that really made me smile - such as tunes from Benn Simms, Glenn Wilson, Pounding Grooves, Compound and 4x4. phat.

free as in freedom rather than free beer. there's a low tax on a door and cheap bar in a squated venue.

you might also want to look at Adam Bayer - is drumcode label is top quality. You might also want to check out artist such as Oliva Ho. Kazaa and emule P2P networks are a good place to get sample tracks before you go tune shopping

a few years ago these guys were putting out a lot of percussive tribal stuff. the best by each for me are:

beyer -- safety sessions on drumcode (with joel mull)
ho -- metphysical #8 on metaphysical

    but that's just me...

...for classics check out the entire purpose maker catalog.
