I'm not normally an advocate of firewire devices when not specifically needed for a laptop ..
but anything from RME rocks and this has superior specs over the older pci based Multiface.
Looks like a winner!

RME = Quality! not much more 2 say exept 2 expect a

there will also be a smaller firewire soundcard on the range of products... if I have some free time I'll take some fotos of the promo panflets and post a copy here!
