Default The Stay Up Forever appreciation thread...

Surely the longest running acid techno label, Stay Up Forever has been around for bloody ages! A quality label run by sound people. Which SUF & SUFR tracks have you enjoyed most over the years? For me, highlights have been:

    SUF14 - A+E Department - The rabbits name was...
Such a cool track & one that really got me into the acid techno sound.

SUF16 - Dynamo City - Urban and free.
I really love the chilled out sounds in this track.

    SUF18 - Secret Hero - Control.
A classic IMO, quite dark, and atmospheric.

    SUF26 - Secret Hero - Multiform.
Again, a really atmospheric track for me.

    SUF33 - Star Power - X-Ray OK.
    Proper avin'it anthem!

    SUF48 - Crash 'N' Burn - Santa Pod
Again, almost anthem like track & a complete & utter classic!

SUF69 - Dynamo City - One night in Hackney.
Love it for its humour, and although its gets on my nerves a bit now, I feel this track brought a lot of interest to the scene from people who would never have normally looked into it, and for that, it has to be given credit.

And all the Rozzer's Dog releases! With the best for me being, The pimp, the pusher & the panther, which is an absolutely awesome track, and World War 303, which sounds proper nuts on a phat system!

I love the way Stay Up Forever has moved with the times & I still love the releases that are coming out now, as much as I did the tracks of old. A brilliant and consistant label IMO. Which tracks do it for you?

Stay hard! Stay Up Forever!

goddamnit I've been after a copy of squat rock for so long it hurts, argh. Another classic piece of hard acid stompage.

personally I love the bouncey fun of santa pod, top tune.
